Ryan, Rosie and Chris live on air

A trio of cyclists who took part in the ‘Godiva Awakes’ project in July and August this year chatted about their experiences on Rugby Hospital Radio.

One of the three was our own presenter Chris Wade, who rode the ‘cyclopedia’ from Coventry down the A5 to Waltham Forest in London.

Chris had invited two fellow riders as guests on his programme. Rosie King, who works as a professional radio producer for BBC Coventry and Warwickshire, and her partner Ryan Eaton joined Chris for an hour of music and chat.

The 18ft Lady Godiva puppet was a huge hit when ‘she’ came to Rugby, a visit that included a town centre walkabout and an overnight stop.
