Volunteering as a RHR member is a great way to do something positive for your local community. You’ll bring benefit to hospital patients by helping maintain a service that provides them with information, reassuranceCynthia and Mike and entertainment.

We need presenters, fundraisers, technical expertise, administrators and organisers to keep the charity and the station going.

Experience of broadcasting is not essential: we provide presenter training at a pace to suit each individual. What’s most important is that you have our audience in mind and can relate to and cater for them.

If you have something to offer, live within a realistic distance and are able to make a regular commitment, we’d like to hear from you. Please note the minimum age for joining the service is 18.

Email us at volunteering@rugbyhospitalradio.org.uk for more information or to offer your support.

Work Experience

We sometimes receive requests asking if we can provide work experience. Sadly, due to the fact that the station is not normally staffed during most days of the week, this is not something that is practicable.
